Terra Andina Carmenere, Chile, 2011

D.O. Central Valley. Scandalous. Free spirited by nature. Terra Andina wines are meant to be enjoyed, not collected. What's special about this bottle? The wine inside is scandalous and scandalously delicious. Once confused for another variety, this lost grape of Bordeaux has been rediscovered and adopted as Chile's signature grape. You can expect notes of plums, berries and cedar & spice. When should you open it? This Carmenere goes great with anything off the grill, dishes with some spice, take-out food, a dinner party, or just hanging out with friends - whichever comes first. Alc. 13.5% by vol. Imported by Palm Bay International. Produced and bottled by Sur Andino S.A. - wine of Chile.
